Cardiac care technician

A catheterization laboratory, or Cath-lab, the technician is a professional who works in the field of cardiovascular technology. Cath-lab technicians are vital team members who assist doctors during invasive cardiovascular procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology. Cardiovascular technologists spend most of their working time in operating rooms. Although many of the procedures they assist with have become routine, these technologists work in high stress situations due to the fact that should complications arise, the patient can be quickly placed in a life-threatening position.

Eligibility:

Age: Above 15 years.
Qualification: Working X-ray technicians with minimum 1 to 2 years of experience. (Minimum 12th Pass.) BSc. graduates any stream.
Gender: Male & Female both can register.

Course Duration: 

a: 6 months classroom, 5 months internship.
b: Examination after 1 year.
c: The Programs are full time courses (9am to 5pm Mon-Friday).

Admission Process:

a: Entrance Test followed by Personal Interview.
b: Registration fees: Nil.
c: Admission fees: 1500 Rs.
